Katie became a resident of Galveston as soon as she could, in 2019. Katie entered the real estate industry after a long career in dentistry, serving as a dental hygienist in the Houston, Austin, and Galveston areas for over 20 years. Her love of helping others carries through into helping folks find a place to call home or to sell their home. Having grown up next door, in Louisiana, Katie attended LSU for a degree in Allied Health, then on to Georgia State University for a degree in Dental Hygiene. She does consider herself to be a true Cajun, but made her way to Texas in 2002. Since moving to Galveston, Katie has become immersed in the community in many ways. Serving her church parish and her daughters school, Holy Family Catholic School, in numerous planning committees and boards. Katie has also volunteered with the Galveston Historical Foundation and is a supporter of small business owners in Galveston. Katie has also become involved with Galveston's City Council members, aiding them in their campaigns etc, to continually better our community for our residents. Katie has a love of sharing Galveston's history and it's uniqueness and this really shows when she interacts with anyone here!
